Daniel Young is an interaction designer with a passion for human-centered design thinking and craft.
In his previous incarnations, Daniel Christian Young has been an engineer, a consultant, an entrepreneur, and a swing dance instructor. As a world traveler, he has never held a physical address for longer than 2 years since he was 10. But these days you’re likely to sight him at Art Center College of Design, exchanging sleep cycles and soy lattes for kick-ass design chops.
Most of his free time is spent pontificating on physical, mental, and spiritual clutter. He maintains a curious love/hate relationship with user experience, gameful persuasion, transmedia, and white space. Daniel is a simplicity evangelist who dreams of a future where people don’t work in cubicles or curse at digital gadgets. He feels mildly guilty about writing bios in the third person.
